Stephen and John will be attending an exhibition at The Haig Colliery Mining Museum (Solway Road, Whitehaven CA28 9BG) to show designs and ideas for the future development of the Marchon site near Whitehaven.
The site has a long history of industrial use and was once the largest single-site producer of Sulphuric Acid in Europe. The site closed down in 2006 and our team have designed some exciting plans for a residential development to make the most of the sea views and to create pathways to allow better access to the beautiful coast line for the local community.
There are information boards with details of the site plus Stephen and John will be available to answer questions about the proposed designs and plans. Pop in and take a look.
